Rear Leaf Springs

Author: Bob Gowdy

If you feel the ride on your Interceptor is a little too soft and you’ve already tried new rear shocks, the culprit/s might be your bottom (or helper) springs. If the car is sagging severely, have your springs re-arched. If not too severely, check the very bottom spring leaf. If its ends are curved downwards, then remove it, turn it over and replace. This has been done on a number of cars and it has been 100% successful. It corrected those speed bump ‘bumps’ and brought about a firmer ride.
